Terms of Service & Refund Policy

1. Acceptance of terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using AddiPress Pro ("the Plugin"), you ("the Customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Plugin.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and AddiPress regarding the Plugin and supersede any prior agreements or representations.

2. Product & licence

2.1 What you receive

AddiPress Pro is a WordPress plugin (a digital software product) delivered as a downloadable .zip file. Upon successful payment, you receive:

• A downloadable copy of the plugin
• A licence key to activate automatic updates
• Access to your customer account at addipress.com for re-downloads
• Lifetime software updates (as long as the product exists)
• Support as described in §7

2.2 Licence tiers

• Pro — $349 (one-time): Personal, commercial, or client use on 1 WordPress installation. One active site at a time.
• Agency — $799 (one-time): Use on unlimited WordPress installations you own, manage, or build for clients.

2.3 Licence restrictions

Your licence is personal and non-transferable. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicence the Plugin to third parties
• Share your licence key or download link publicly
• Use the Plugin on more sites than your licence tier permits
• Remove or alter any copyright or licence notices within the Plugin code

Violation of licence restrictions may result in immediate termination of your licence without refund.

3. Payment & pricing

All prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) unless otherwise stated. EU customers may see VAT added at checkout based on their billing country.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe or PayPal. AddiPress never stores your payment card details.

Prices shown are one-time payments — there are no recurring subscriptions, no renewal fees, and no hidden charges. Early Bird pricing is available for a limited number of licences and may change without notice once the Early Bird allocation is exhausted.

4. Refund policy — 14-day money-back guarantee

Refund conditions

• Refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the purchase date
• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
• Upon refund, your licence is revoked and you must deactivate and delete the Plugin
• Only one refund per customer is permitted (prevents abuse)

Refund exceptions

Refunds may be declined if there is evidence of:

• Chargebacks filed before contacting us
• Systematic purchase-refund-repurchase abuse
• Violation of the EULA or licence terms

EU / UK consumer rights

EU and UK consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for digital products purchased online, unless the download has started with your explicit consent and acknowledgement that you waive the withdrawal right. Our 14-day guarantee meets or exceeds this statutory minimum. See also §10.

5. Permitted & prohibited use

Permitted

• Installing and using the Plugin on WordPress sites within your licence limit
• Modifying the Plugin code for your own use (modifications are not covered by support)
• Building client sites using the Plugin under an Agency licence

Prohibited

• Distributing, reselling, or sublicencing the Plugin to third parties
• Using the Plugin to build a product that directly competes with AddiPress Pro
• Reverse engineering the Plugin for the purpose of extracting trade secrets
• Using the Plugin in violation of any applicable law or WordPress.org guidelines

6. Intellectual property

AddiPress Pro and all associated code, documentation, design assets, and brand materials are the intellectual property of AddiPress. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Plugin — they do not transfer ownership.

AddiPress Pro includes open-source components licensed under GPL v2 or later, as is standard for WordPress plugins. The GPL licence for those components applies as per their respective licence files.

7. Updates & support

Updates

Your licence includes lifetime plugin updates — you will receive all future versions of AddiPress Pro at no additional charge, as long as the product exists and your licence remains active.

Support

• Pro licence: Priority email support, response within 4 hours on business days (Mon–Fri, 8:00–22:00 CET)
• Agency licence: Dedicated support channel, fastest response times
• Support covers the Plugin as supplied. Customisations, third-party theme conflicts, or server configuration issues are outside the scope of standard support.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

AddiPress Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all WordPress configurations or third-party plugins.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AddiPress's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Plugin shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.

AddiPress shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption) even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any statutory rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [JURISDICTION — fill before launch], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of [JURISDICTION].

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

10. Consumer rights (EU/UK)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protection laws apply and are not overridden by these Terms. In particular:

• You have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital goods, subject to the conditions described in §4
• You are entitled to remedies for products that are not in conformity with the contract under the EU Sale of Goods Directive (2019/771) and the Digital Content Directive (2019/770)
• Nothing in these Terms affects your non-waivable statutory rights

11. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered customers at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Plugin after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases made before the effective date.
