No. All AI processing runs asynchronously via WordPress cron — it never blocks page loads. The plugin adds zero render-blocking scripts to your frontend. Listing content is sent to OpenAI’s API for processing — the same way any GPT-based tool works. Your API key, site configuration, and generated content are stored only on your own server. AddiPress itself has no backend — there are no Spawik/AddiPress servers in the data flow. You communicate directly: your WordPress site → OpenAI API → your WordPress site.
AddiPress handles API failures gracefully. If a call fails, it queues the task for retry with exponential backoff (30s, 2min, 10min). Your existing listings and site content are never deleted or altered on failure. You receive an admin notice and optional email alert when the API is unavailable for more than 15 minutes.
